You can send your Curriculum Vitae through electronic mail (e-mail), send via post or visit the office for a walk-in interview from Monday to Thursday at 9 am to 3 pm.

There are several recruitment procedures to follow:

First, you have to pass our intial interview.  We will assess your English proficiency skills. We will then ask  you  to present your original documents including school and work certificates. If you do not pass our initial interview, visit our Counsellors at Meranti Magsaysay Institute. Join our training programs and be qualified.

Secondly, after you pass our recruitment interview, you will be asked to take the Marlins test which is a compulsory English test requirement for seafarers before you can work onboard.

If you pass the Marlins English test, you will then be met by our principal representative  for the final interview. If you do not pass the principal interview, you can inquire about our English program and then enroll in our English For Life class for better English proficiency.

Thirdly, after you pass the principal interview, you will then be asked to take a medical check up. If you are  fit to work, you become part of our family.  WELCOME TO MERANTI MAGSAYSAY!

Some Principals will require you to undergo specific training. After the completion of training; you will need to complete the documents for shipboard embarkation, such as Passport, Visa, Basic Safety Training, Seaman’s Book, etc. You will then be given a schedule to board.  WELCOME ONBOARD!

After your shipboard contract, you must visit our Family Center and Meranti Magsaysay Institute and see how we help you more to improve your life better.
