MMI-Shipboard - F and B Utility


COURSE STRUCTURE

The training is focused in Food & Beverage and Kitchen operations. It is designed to prepare applicants for shipboard employment.

 

Specific areas of training are:

  • Public health sanitation - the importance of personal hygiene and food safety plays a very important role before working in any food and beverage environment. Students will be exposed to the real public health and safety procedures including chemical management, waste management, personal protective equipment , pest control and safety at work.
  • Galley and bar equipment cleaning procedures -  standards in cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces, and dishwashing procedures.
     

                    5 days / 6 hours per day / Monday to Friday / with lunch break & comfort breaks
