The course is arranged so as to include both theory and practical sessions. The theory lessons deal with general subjects such as:
Costa Crociere Style, Vision, Mission and Corporate Values
International standards of Quality, Ethics, Environmental Compliance and Safety
Life on board, organization and discipline

As well as specific operation course content such as:
Housekeeping and Crew Departments procedures
Housekeeping and Crew equipment operations
Vessel sanitation (HACCP, USPH)
Management of materials and cost control
The practical lessons focus on the main activities the Trainees will perform on board of Costa Crociere\'s ships and comprise:
Practice of the sanitation and environmental procedures and standards
Step by step practice of Housekeeping and Crew procedures
Familiarization with chemicals
Each lesson is aimed at heightening the students awareness of service quality importance and the total compliance with the excellent standards as defined by Costa.
